Datuk Yusof Haslam is the managing director of Skop Production Sdn Bhd. His foray on to Silver screen began when he was a teenager.

Before long, Yusof's acting begin to reap rewards. He soon finds himself starring in many productions, working under several different directors and alongside top-notch actors.

He has produced and detected for more than 250 tv dramas for local tv station. The current most talked about tv drama is police "Gerak Khas" which has been in the highest rating for three consecutive years since 1999.

In September 26, 1996 he has received a letter of appreciation from the Inspector General of Royal Malaysian Police for his serious involvement through his creative ideas in viewing the prestigious reputations of the Royal Malaysian police.

His untiring contribution to the local industry culminated with him receiving as award from the government, which carries the title "Datuk".

Datuk Yusof Haslam, Pengarah Urusan Skop Production Sdn Bhd mula berkecimpung dengan dunia perfileman sejak usia remaja lagi.

Tidak lama kemudian, rezeki beliau di dalam seni lakonan bertambah. Beliau telah ditawarkan beberapa watak utama dan bekerja di bawah beberapa pengarah berkaliber dan bersama pelakon pelakon popular ketika itu.

Beliau telah menghasilkan tidak kurang daripada 250 drama TV tempatan. Antara drama yang tetap gah adalah drama polis 'Gerak Khas' yang masih bertahan dengan tontonan tertinggi semenjak 1999.

Pada September 1996, beliau telah menerima surat pengtauliahan daripada Ketua Polis Negara kerana penceburan serius dan idea kreatif beliau yang telah menaikkan imej Polis DiRaja Malaysia.

Penceburan dan sumbangan beliau kepada industri seni negara telah membuahkan hasil apabila kerajaan telah menganugerahkan beliau dengan Pingat yang membawa Gelaran "Datuk".
