| Maria cannot face the reality of her husband's death,
Yusof. She refuses to be in contact with the outside world.
She does not even entertain Yusof's accountant telephone
calls to arrange the transfer all of Yusof's will to her
name. The process of transfer has been overdue for 6 months.
Jeff is Yusof's best friend. |
| |
| Maria is heavily under prescribed medication. As a result,
she keeps having these hallucinations of Yusof during
the night and reminding her to ever remain faithful to
their love. |
| |
| Her sister, Sarah, is always on the lookout for her
welfare, or so it seems. She encourages Maria to emerge
from her cocoon and accept Yusof's death so that she can
continue with her own life. Sarah's boyfriend, Bob, is
a special effects and make-up artiste in the movie industry.
Together, they arrange for Maria to meet for dinner with
one of Bob's friends. |
| |
| Sarah and Bob have a murderous plot to dispose of Maria.
Maria's hallucinations are caused by an overdose of drugs
replaced with those in her medicine bottle contents by
Sarah. |
| |
| One night, while paying a visit to Maria's with some
documents, Jeff sees the exact image of Yusof leaving
the house. He decides to trail the imposter and it leads
him to an astonishing revelation. What he saw is Bob,
the make-up artiste and Sarah in the house but he cannot
hear their conversation. Jeff suspects that something
is not right and intends to resolve the matter. |
