Khurafat (Khurafat is a Malay word means superstition)is a story about an illegal agreement between evil and human being which is forbidden in our holy religion. But human being without considering the consequences, turns his back from Islam and Allah and drifted back to the whispers of satan, supported by greedy desires.

The story begins with Johan, a young man working as a hospital assistant. He is already married and has a wife name Aishah. This newlywed young couple lives a happy marriage and a peaceful life, but something unexpected happens. They are often harassed by a weird creature. This is frightening them, especially Johan.

The presence of a mysterious old woman, together with a sudden appearance of Johan’s ex- girlfriend name Anna who behave strangely has frightening this couple much more ... Anna is always disturbing Johan even when he is with  Aishah. And this has makes Johan to be even more worried. Not long after that Anna was found dead because of suicide. The death of Anna is the peak of the strange things that happened in Johan’s life.

Anna’s spirit starts to haunt the couple’s life. Johan’s life is so much in depressed after being pushed by those strange incidents.

What is actually going after Johan and Aishah?

What is the end of Johan’s life? Everything will be revealed in the Khurafat.

In conclusion, khurafat (superstition) is a practice of parting people from depends on Khalik (creator / God). In the Quran there are verses that asked us to rely only on God and reject the belief other than Him in order to get the good things and to avoid the evils. And we should seek pleasure only from Allah, where on Him human being should rely on.
